This company's epoxy fast cure powder coatings are designed to provide chemical resistance, toughness and flexibility This company's epoxy fast cure powder coatings are designed to provide chemical resistance, toughness and flexibility. Recommended for interior applications, the coatings feature a cure cycle time of 3 min at 400°F, a specific gravity of 1.55 ±0.05, and a gel time of 20 to 50 sec at 400°F.
The coatings feature an impact direct of 100-in./lb, as well as an impact reverse of 100-in/lb. Additional characteristics include: a gloss (60)° of 30; a thickness of 1.5 to 2.5 mils; a pencil hardness of 3H to 4H; conical mandrel is 100% Pass; and adhesion cross hatch is 100% Pass.
These epoxy coatings are not tolerant of UV. Applications include appliance components, automotive under hood parts, office and hospital furniture, transformers, heavy-duty tools, and machinery.
